Event Volunteers
Support the Run for the Dream 8K Run/Walk, Fun Run for Kids and Half Marathon held each spring in Williamsburg, VA. Proceeds benefit An Achievable Dream and Wounded Warrior programs. Volunteers are needed to assist with the Expo, water stations, information desks, parking and transportation, course marshals and the Post-Race Bash. The Tennis Ball is an annual fundraising gala and auction held each fall to support our Dreamers. This black-tie event includes a silent auction, delicious dinner and an exciting live auction. Volunteers are needed before the event to help solicit auction items, to prepare items for display, and to set up at the venue. Corporate Involvement Corporate Partners are key to the curriculum at An Achievable Dream Middle & High School. Our career program works with students as they enter the sixth grade to expose and enhance familiarity with potential careers. Our corporate partners volunteer in the classroom to provide information on corporate cultures and interviewing techniques. Dreamers also visit corporate partners to tour their facilities and learn first-hand about the companies. build future success. |
